I’m a bit late here, but I really like Rift so far. It’s not something that is completely reinventing the genre or anything, but it’s fun, the class system is awesome, and it WORKS. Very few bugs and stuff, already in closed beta it seemed very polished. Several dungeons too, so you don’t feel you run out of content as fast, as least I haven’t yet.
I think it’s a good game. You’ll recognize alot from other MMOs we’ve played, they’ve picked the good things and made their own of it.
Has an interesting lore. I think it can keep me busy until we visit a galaxy far, far away later this year (we hope :) ).
I liked Rift alot :)
