I enjoyed X-men: First class. Especially the lead actors were quite nice in their respective parts as Professor X and Magneto. Peculiar the idea of making Professor X British.

I love it. Already finished it once and doing it the second time around. I liked the first, but I must say I like the second more. And the story is there, it is just more subtle about its execution, so you will just hear hints and rumors about the main story in act 1 and 2 and only during act 3 it comes out in full glory

Can’t blame no, its pretty quiet over there as far as I have experienced. I think in my worgens run from 1 to now 77 I have only gotten the opportunity to roleplay once. Which is really a little sad as I have a nice character going. :P

Actually.. I remember they first announced the game ”tentative” release as ”Spring 2011” while now it is just ”2011” that would indeed mean a push into later year release.

I finally got into it. It is really a great game as long as you stick to the turn based system. I also realized the two modes, Classic and Blitz have nothing to do with this. Classic is just the board game rules for campaigns with no modifications while Blitz has some additions like players’ equipment, sponsors, more stuff to buy etc.
I’m having a lot of fun first with my Classical Necromantic team and now I am trying a Lizard Men team in Blitz mode. Also, I suggest to read the Blood Bowl rules for competitive play that can be found free online… or in the game, albeit the ones in the game have tiny tiny fonts. For example, I had no idea that ”Defender stumbles” is a WORSE results than ”Defender down” if you are the attacker as the former can be changed into a push if the Defender has dodge while the second cannot be avoided in any way.
I wish they could make more of the specialty GW games… Like Necromunda would rock or Mordheneheim (sp!)

I created a ”necromantic” team, just because I wanted to see what was the difference between them and vanilla undead. I got werewolves, yai! Now to actually play the game…. Well, I did the first game of the story mode and won with the dwarves vs the orcs, hurray for the stunties!

I do not know what to think of this game. It is made by Interplay, not Bethesda and there is a huge lawsuit about it going on. So I am not sure I can trust this Interplay to ever deliver Fallout Online, their past glories not withstanding.

Oh btw, the druids have a new minor glyph that will revert their tree forms to the old version in case someone does not like the new ones. Also there is a rumor that a needed player characters model update is coming and will be announced at Blizzcon… but I have not seen anything to confirm this… so it is just speculation at this point

I hope you get better! And on the Civ5 argument, I hope they put a limit to the ”explore ruins, find advanced weapons”. I had ottoman ”scouts” running around as rifleman when everyone else had spearmen…

I’m running Directx10 and have no crashing problems. The game IS a resource hog though and even my couple years old gaming rig cannot play it fully maxed and get some annoying scroll lag issues, My wife’s computer, however, that is brand new, runs it full speed and no problems.

I’m running DX11. Not maxing the settings anymore but it doesn’t matter. Can’t run DX9 at all, then it crashes instantly.
